Adding other's blogs to your page...part I
Ok people, lol, you need to follow the other people in the classes blogs, then you go to the dashboard page, click on layout, then on one of the 'add gadgets' on the right handscreen you click and then scroll down till you see blogroll. Add that then you get the option of displaying the blogs that you are following.
This seemed to work for me, I hope it works for you too! Happy blogging...

Shortcut to other journals!
Using the literature that I found online, I can then browse the bibliography of each paper to quickly locate other papers that are related to massage and diabetes patients! Happy days indeed!

The search continues...
With some spare time on my hands today I decided to search through the EBSCO Host database for published research regarding the benefits of massage for diabetics.
Using various keywords such as MASSAGE, DIABETES, BLOOD SUGAR LEVELS, I managed to find several studies linking massage therapy to diabetes dating back to 2001.
I found that by reading some of the downloaded publications I was able to identify additional keywords I could use to search with. These included: Acupressure Therapy, Touch, Increased blood flow, Glycaemic improvement and Insulin Adsorption.

Reflections on research
Today we looked at various possible topics to research in relation to the benefits of massage therapy. I have decided to look at the positive advantages massage can have on people living with diabetes.
Using the TAFE library resource to access the EBSCO database I managed to find several recent articles linking the effects of massage therapy to diabetes.
